Collection: Air King Vacuum Machines

Coin Operated Vacuum Machines for Car Washes

A vacuum island is often the highest-margin square footage on a car wash lot. The equipment is simpler than a wash bay, the water and chemical costs are zero, and customers who came for a wash will pay again on the way out rather than drive home with sand in the carpet.

What determines whether a vacuum earns

Three things, in order: suction that visibly works, a hose long enough to reach the back seat and the trunk without moving the car, and a machine that is actually running when someone pulls up. The third is where most operators lose money — a vacuum that's down for a week doesn't just lose its own revenue, it teaches regulars to stop trying.

That's the reason our machines are built around serviceable, stocked components rather than sealed assemblies. Motors, hoses, cuffs, couplers, filter bags, and coin acceptors all ship from inventory, so a failure is a same-week fix instead of a replacement decision.

Configurations

  • Coin operated — no processing fees or network dependency, most profitable at high volume
  • Credit card only — no coin route, typically a higher average ticket
  • Coin and credit card — accepts both
  • Free operating — no payment mechanism, used as a draw to pull traffic onto the lot where the wash itself is the revenue

The free-vend configuration is worth a serious look if you're competing on a busy corridor. A free vacuum is one of the cheapest ways to make a customer choose your wash over the one across the street, and it removes the coin collection route entirely.
