Timer model: Infitec ASCR540 (Part Number 1512) — dip-switch timer for run time (seconds) and coin count.

At a Glance

Quick Start

  1. Power OFF. Open cabinet to access the timer.
  2. Set Run Time using the 10-switch time bank (values in seconds: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512). Turn ON multiple to add up the total.
  3. Set Coin Requirement using the 4-switch coin bank (values in coins: 1, 2, 4, 8). Turn ON to add up total coins.
  4. Power ON and run a test vend.

Run Time — Common Examples

  • 1:00 → 32 + 16 + 8 + 4 = 60 sec
  • 2:00 → 64 + 32 + 16 + 8 = 120 sec
  • 3:00 → 128 + 32 + 16 + 4 = 180 sec
  • 4:00 → 128 + 64 + 32 + 16 = 240 sec
  • 5:00 → 256 + 32 + 8 + 4 = 300 sec

Coin Requirement — Quick Reference

  • $1.00 → 4 coins
  • $1.50 → 6 coins (2 + 4)
  • $2.00 → 8 coins
  • $2.50 → 10 coins (2 + 8)
  • $3.00 → 12 coins (4 + 8)

  • Start with $1.00 → 3:00 and adjust for your location’s traffic.
  • Keep coin mechs clean to prevent misreads.
