Collection: Air Machines for Gas Stations

Air Machines for Gas Stations and Convenience Stores

Air King has built air machines for gas stations since 1982. A tire inflation machine on the forecourt does two jobs at once: it earns directly, and it pulls cars onto your lot that then buy fuel, drinks, and snacks. The second job is usually worth more than the first.

What a gas station machine has to survive

Forecourt equipment lives a harder life than almost any other coin-operated machine. It sits outdoors year-round, unattended, exposed to road salt, freeze-thaw cycles, UV, and the occasional bumper. It gets used by people who have never operated one before and who will not treat it gently. And when it fails, nobody calls you — the customer just drives to the station down the road.

That's the design brief our machines are built to. Steel cabinets with secure locking, components rated for continuous outdoor duty, and a parts supply chain that keeps a machine earning for decades rather than years.

Choosing a configuration

  • Coin operated — no processing fees, no monthly gateway charge, no network dependency. Most profitable at low vend prices and high volume.
  • Credit card only — no coin collection route, higher average ticket, and transaction data you never had with quarters.
  • Coin and credit card — takes both. The safest choice when your traffic mix is uncertain.
  • Air and water — adds a water fill, useful at stations serving longer-distance and commercial traffic.
  • Air and vacuum combination — one cabinet, two revenue streams, single footprint. Strong fit where lot space is tight.

Every machine can be specified with your choice of cabinet color, vend price, and run time.

Siting and installation

Machines can be wall-mounted or set on a freestanding pedestal stand, which lets you place a unit at an island end cap, a vacuum bay, or the lot perimeter without existing structure to mount to. If you're planning a new install and aren't sure where the machine will earn best, call us — we've watched this play out at thousands of sites.

Freight and support

Free freight to the lower 48, shipped fully crated from our Illinois factory. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico: call for a quote. Replacement parts — compressors, hoses, gauges, solenoid valves, faceplates, coin acceptors, and decals — ship from stock, so a machine bought today is still serviceable in fifteen years.
