Replacement air solenoid valve for coin-operated air machines. Air King part #0207.
What the solenoid valve does in an air machine
The solenoid valve is the part that turns a paid transaction into actual air. When a customer inserts coins or swipes a card, the timer signals the solenoid, the valve opens, and air flows to the hose for the vend duration. When time expires, the valve closes. Every single transaction your machine runs passes through this one component.
That makes it one of the highest-cycle parts in the cabinet, and one of the most common failure points. It's also the failure that costs you the most, because of how it fails:
- Valve stuck closed — the customer pays and gets nothing. You don't hear about it; they just leave and don't come back.
- Valve stuck open — air runs continuously, your compressor cycles nonstop, and you're giving away product while shortening the pump's life.
- Slow or partial actuation — the customer gets short-changed on time, gets frustrated, and stops using the machine.
A machine that takes money without delivering air is worse than a machine that's visibly out of order. At least a taped-off machine doesn't cost you the customer.

Diagnosing a solenoid failure
If your machine accepts payment but delivers no air, and the compressor is running normally, the solenoid is the first thing to check — before you start looking at the compressor, the hose, or the coin mechanism. If you hear no audible click when the vend cycle starts, that points the same direction.
Route operators commonly keep one on the truck. At a $57.98 part against a machine earning daily, the spare pays for itself the first time it saves a return trip.
